You probably haven’t created a business plan. Business plans can be long and complex and seem like more of a hassle then they are worth. If you have started or are starting an internet based business then you know the challenges of getting organized and staying motivated. I am going to show you how to create a business plan in 60 seconds that will push you to meet your goals and make lots of money online.

Get Ready..

Pull out a blank piece of paper. In order to create a business plan you need to have some idea what you are going to be doing online. At the top of a blank piece of paper write what you envision the business to look like. Are you marketing a product, creating a web site, assembling widgets for another business etc.. This can be very brief, just a couple of sentences. If you haven’t got a business idea then put at the top of the page: “My Plan For Finding An Online Business That Will Work For Me.”

At the bottom of the page write what your ultimate goals are. Do you want to make $10,000 a month? Do you want to buy a boat, put your son through college, quit your job? Write the things that are inspiring you to make a change in your life. This is the prize at the end of all the work. You want to keep these things in mind as you are working each day.

Get Set..

Pull out an egg timer, watch, clock, hourglass or anything that buzzes. Set it for 60 seconds. When you want to complete a task this is a great trick. It gets you motivated and ignites your competitive spirit. I learned this from my children. When I wanted them to complete a task I would pull out a timer and have them race to the finish. It is a lot of fun.

Go!

Now you have 60 seconds to make a list of tasks that you need to complete in order for your business to be successful and for you to meet your personal goals. Don’t think too much when writing the list. Just write until the timer goes off. At the end of 60 seconds your page should be full of tasks to be completed.

Now.. Get Ready.. Get Set.. Go!

How Did You Do?

You should have a full page of things that you need to get done. If you did it then give yourself a pat on the back and take a victory lap around your desk. You have taken the first step to motivating yourself and pushing your business to success.

Now beside each task write the period of time you are committed to completing the task within. For example, one day, one week, one month. Be realistic but challenge yourself to get the list done quickly. Each day refer back to your 60 second business plan. You should post it in your work space, on your bathroom mirror, or the dashboard of your car. Put it somewhere that you will see it and have to address it every day. Don’t let a day pass without working toward one of the goals on your business plan.

It is easy to become distracted. With a 60 second plan to remind you of your goals and the steps you need to take, you should be able to propel yourself to success 60 seconds at a time.
